An interaction program on ‘The Post Earthquake Situation Review ‘ was organized by ASD in collaboration with Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) from 18-19 June 2015 in Kathmandu. The interaction was focused to assess the current situation and the response of the government and NGO/INGOs in the relief and reconstruction process of the quake affected districts.  The program concluded with an agreement to develop an effective monitoring mechanism involving the network of human rights defenders (HRDs) that would help to demand transparency and accountability on the relief and reconstruction work of the government and NGO/INGOs working in the districts. 22  human rights defenders and journalists from the earthquake affected districts participated in the program.
